I have made some changes on my bike to be more suited for our long trip. The forward pegs on the Hyosung aren’t exactly comfortable for long periods of time, and the seat can be like sitting on a brick after a while LOL.

For the pegs, I usually keep my feet on the passenger pegs or on the forward pegs. Rick added his passenger pegs from his bike onto my bike giving me a couple more positions to set my feet which has made a big difference.

The seat can get pretty uncomfortable at times. On our last trip to Lake Eerie, I used a combination of a blow up pillow and a deer hunting seat from Wal-Mart to try and be more comfortable. Neither of the pillows would stay put, so I wound up duct taping them in place – not very fashionable might I add, LOL. For this trip, I went all out and bought a ROHO Air Hawk seat cushion – size medium. So far the seat has made a noticeable difference in comfort just riding around the house. The Air Hawk came with straps to keep the cushion in place, and the bottom of the cushion is made of the slip proof material. So far the only issue I have had with it, is if the seat is blown up too much, you will bounce all over the place (like your tooshie is on a trampoline :0) ); thankfully, the seat is easily adjustable! The best part about the seat is they have a “you bet your a$$” warrantee that if the product isn’t what you thought it was or has a problem, they will replace it or give you your money back. For luggage I have a few different things I am trying on this trip. I bought a luggage rack from Richard Jordan and assembled it onto the back of the bike.

For the sissy bar, I have a Hyosung brand sissy bar, and I purchased a Motorcycle bag from Wal-Mart that holds a 2 Liter camel back bladder; it slips on right over the sissy bar. Here is the sissy bar – I will load a picture of the bag from Wal-Mart later. 

My saddle bags are the Quick Click brand. They are pretty much waterproof and come off of the bike pretty easily. To take them off of the bike there is a button that you push on the outside of the bag and pull up on the handle, they are also lockable too.
