I smiled at your description of the conversation by your fellow tour bus riders. I got a laugh out of your change of heart about Wyoming, from in love with it to had enough of cow poop smell. lol

I am impressed with the dino' museum pics! I read the display descriptions when I could. I learned a bit about prehistoric sharks, and wondered a bit about the dinosaur nest in a rock depression and the "babies". That Supersaurus vivian?? is a new one to me.

What does it feel like to breathe air at 10000 feet? Can you feel the need to breathe deeper or faster? Can you feel the difference in engine performance?

It is kind of ironic that 12 guys died fighting the dry forest in the Shoshone Forest Fire in the summer of 1937 the same year we suffered from too much precipitation in the devastating floods of 1937 along the Ohio Valley. I guess Mother Nature offers equal opportunities for destruction everywhere, and we may have had a dry summer that year, too.

Where are the veggies on that pizza? No peppers of any kind are visible, probably on onion either; but I guess there is tomato sauce that still counts. You all will need more fiber in your diet when you get a bit older. lol

I noticed a long stretch of riding without cell phone updates on Rick's tracking site when you two got into Nebraska. I'm looking forward to your next post. I found out from Hacksaw's post that there may be more about the trip on Rick's GeoMetro site. I'll look for it.

May you both continue to enjoy the ride, and Avoid lots of rain.

Hey girl, I tried to call ya earlier and got your voice mail....

I just wanted to let ya know that I went back over to the house and checked everything again. I got another weekend feeder and fed the fish. You didn't have any new mail other than a sales paper lol. I cleaned out the litter box and there was just barely enough cat litter to fill it back up. I'll pick up some tommorrow and take it back when I make my next house call lol. Hairy and Fuzzy were following me everywhere. I think June is even warming up to me! Anyway, I filled up their food and water dishes so they are fine. Your other babies that I got up here are fine too. The "pigs" are getting fat! Sylvia still isn't eating the dry food all that well but she's doing a little bit better. Oh yeah, somebody mowed your grass for ya and it looks good!

I guess thats about it....

We love all the pics and stories......We've got so used to getting nightly updates from ya that life just isn't gonna be the same when you get done with this trip and stop the tracking map LOL.

Hugs and kisses to ya both.
And we can't wait for your next set of pics and new updates.

Loved all the pics and stories! The Big Horn Mountains and forest are beautiful. Glad you got to stay in the cute little cabin! Pizza, yummo! I knew it wasn't as good as Woody's when you didn't post any pics of the place and manager! lol Can't wait to see your next stops, esp. Mt Rushmore! Be careful, have fun, and love/hugs to you both! Mom :)

Hey Sarah & Rick! Greetings from Sterling Heights, Michigan. Just found Rick's thread about your cross-country trip on GeoMetroForum last night. I suppose you're looking up at Mt. Rushmore right now or something...Pretty amazing memories being made for sure.
Did this trip somehow stem from your September 2008 trip to GeoPalooza? I guess we're gonna be neighbor's again in July at the Geneva State Camground in Ohio. Rick reserved site 29 and I've got site 25. I'd like to bring some of my kids, but timing is bad with birthdays, graduation parties, and what not...we shall see.

See ya in late July and keep yourselves safe until then!
